Help Us End This Ducking Epidemic!

December 28, 2016

Annual Appeal Message from Heidi Roger, SafeMinds Vice-President & Treasurer

It has been the SafeMinds mission for most of 2016. Our duck mascot reminds us of the autism epidemic and the heartbreaking failure of our system of government to stop it.

The Federal government and mainstream media, both tasked with investigating and promoting the truth about autism, have been ducking the autism epidemic. Billions of dollars have been spent with little to no accountability, and no results have been found to make people with autism safer, healthier, more independent, or recovered.

SafeMinds wants to tell these non-responsive agencies, government officials and mainstream media to get their ducks in a row! We will continue to advocate for research that gets at the heart of the catastrophic increase in autism prevalence. We will demand changes in the offices that oversee the needs of the autism community and demand staffing with oversight and policies with measurable, positive outcomes.
