Holy Moly! It is December 30th already, how did that happen?
That means there are less than two days to make a tax deductible donation to SafeMinds.
Why should you make a donation to SafeMinds? Many years of work and lots of reasons, but here are just a few points to consider:
SafeMinds continues to focus on the entire spectrum of people with autism, comorbid illnesses they may suffer from and the caregivers of this population. We promote environmental research to understand and stop these causes from occurring. Here are my thoughts from 2018 which still ring true today.
We did this video, to highlight the increase in autism nationwide as an urgent public health crisis.
And now we are working on Federal Legislation called The Autism Effectiveness, Responsiveness and Accountability (ERA) Act. Almost like an Equal Rights Amendment for the Autism Community. Please take a look to see how this legislation would improve the health status and quality of life for people living with autism and their caregivers, while reducing the associated costs for individuals with autism, their caregivers, and the U.S. Government.

October 2020 will be 20 years we have been working to help the autism community. We won’t give up.
