Forbes Magazine Thinks So!
A recent column in Forbes started off by reporting on the country’s economic recovery, ended up focusing on the lack of employment initiatives for adults with autism in current or past pandemic stimulus bills. Forbes suggested that due to this oversight, a bill focused exclusively on employing adults with autism will be necessary in 2021. The article went on to report that the autism community is currently receiving help from autism employment centers at Stanford, Cornell and UCLA to have the Autism Full Employment Act fleshed out in the next four months. Be on the lookout for exciting new autism legislation in the beginning of the new year.
