Take Action – Contact Members of the Health Subcommittee Before Tomorrow’s Vote

May 27, 2014

TA_LogoRedOval_19SE05_1On Wednesday, May 28 at 2:00 p.m.  the health subcommittee will be asked to vote on a deficient version of the Combating Autism Act (CAA) Reauthorization. There has been no hearing and the bill has one-quarter the number of co-sponsors as when put to a vote before. It is being rushed because a large segment of the autism community rejects it, as was reported in The Hill last week. Please contact members of the Health Subcommittee and ask them to vote no on continuing to waste tax dollars on a set of programs, which, in 14 years, hasn’t prevented a single cause of autism or delivered even one new or improved treatment.
